How you can use cold-pressed sesame oil on hair and skin?

  • With face cream 

In addition to your own face cream, Just add a few drops of cold-pressed sesame oil to your face cream to have an antiseptic and antibacterial effect on oily skin , an emollient and moisturising effect on dry skin and a soothing effect on sensitive skin. For 50 ml of face cream, 15 drops of cold-pressed sesame oil will be enough. 

  • Face beauty mask 

Since cold-pressed sesame oil is very thick and greasy, we advise you to use it for the face with masks to keep in place. 

In the case of oily skin you can use 10 ml of yoghourt, 5 ml of cold-pressed sesame oil, 2 drops of tea tree oil; in the case of dry and sensitive skin, take 10 ml of aloe vera gel, 5 ml of cold-pressed sesame oil, 4 drops of lavender essence. Spread on the face, with the exception of the eye area, let it act for about twenty minutes and then rinse thoroughly with warm water. 

  • Anti-aging eye contour 

Prepare this anti-wrinkle mix for a toning and nourishing eye contour: 10 ml of cold-pressed sesame oil, 5 ml of rosehip oil (with an elasticizing effect), 1 drop of damask rose essence (regenerating). Apply a small amount of oil to the eye area in the evening before going to sleep. 

  • Shining pack for dry and dry hair 

Against dry hair, you can benefit from the nourishing action of cold-pressed sesame oil. Melt 15 g of shea butter (soothing and moisturising) in a bain-marie , add 8 ml of cold-pressed sesame oil and 5 drops of rosemary essence (remineralizing). Apply this pack to the skin and hair and leave it to act for an hour. Then proceed with the normal washing by using any organic shampoo for better results 

  • Anti-dandruff lotion for oily scalp

In this case, just rub the scalp with 10 ml of cold-pressed sesame oil to which you have added 3 drops of lavender essential oil, 2 drops of tea tree and a few drops of lemon juice. Gently massage the skin with your fingers for at least 5 minutes so that the active substances of the lotion are absorbed and have an anti-dandruff action . Leave this mixture on for half an hour and then wash your hair.

  • Pack for oily hair 

As an alternative to the lotion just seen, you can prepare an effective pack for oily hair . In a glass bowl, combine 10 ml of cold-pressed sesame oil, 10 ml of linseed oil and 10 ml of coconut oil ; add 5 drops of bergamot essential oil and 3 drops of tea tree oil. After mixing the mixture with a wooden spoon, apply this pack along the entire length of the hair and on the scalp. Leave on for about 30 minutes and proceed with normal washing. This pack, as well as a restructuring, will be very useful to combat oily skin and dandruff. 

  • Cold-pressed sesame oil massages

Just add 10 drops of lavender to 50 ml of cold-pressed sesame oil to calm the skin and relax, or 10 drops of arnica oil to facilitate muscle relaxation. For an invigorating massage, we recommend combining 5 drops of cypress, 5 drops of lemon and 5 drops of rosemary with cold-pressed sesame oil.

  • Decontracting and anti-bruising massage oil

With cold-pressed sesame oil we can also prepare an effective oil against bruises, sprains, and contractures . To do this, simply combine 30 ml of arnica oil , 10 ml of cold-pressed sesame oil, 10 ml of oily macerate of aloe vera, and 5 drops of essential oil of wintergreen. This oily compound can be applied directly to the areas to be treated three times a day for a longer or shorter treatment period depending on your needs.

  • Gentle face scrub

Making a delicate face scrub based on cold-pressed sesame oil is very simple: just take a tablespoon of cold-pressed sesame oil, 30 g of natural whole yoghurt and a tablespoon of jojoba pearls. Once the ingredients are mixed, you can apply the product all over the face, massaging the skin with your hands for a delicate smoothing effect. 

Finally, rinse with warm water and the help of a sponge. 

  • Soothing after-sun gel 

In this case, take 100 ml of aloe vera gel, add 10 ml of cold-pressed sesame oil and 10 ml of calendula oil . Complete the recipe with 10 drops of lavender essential oil. You can keep this mix of ingredients in the refrigerator and it will be useful as a soothing after- sun and to disinfect the skin in case of irritation, burns and dermatitis.
